The approach

Software that knows whose job it is doing.

Estate agency is regulated, personal and local. Solemndt is designed around that reality rather than against it. These are the commitments the product is built on.

Commitments

  1. The agency is the practitioner. We are the software.

Solemndt never sells property, gives advice or takes a share of a sale. The agency holds the mandate, the Fidelity Fund Certificate and the relationship. We charge for seats and usage, the way operating software should be charged for.

  2. Answers come from the record, or from a person.

The assistant replies to buyers only with facts the agency has approved on the listing. If a question falls outside them, it says so and hands over. It does not estimate, embellish or negotiate.

  3. Automation steps back when a person steps in.

Every conversation has an owner. When an agent takes over, the assistant stops. It returns only when it is handed back. Nothing is sent on an agent’s behalf without a clear rule saying it may be.

  4. One agency, one boundary.

Every table, every query and every channel is scoped to the agency that owns it. We test for cross-agency leakage the way others test for typos. Personal information is handled under POPIA with retention rules the agency can see.

  5. Channels stay in the agency’s name.

WhatsApp numbers, mailboxes and portal feeds are the agency’s own accounts, connected to Solemndt. If the agency leaves, the history and the number go with it.

  6. Decisions are recorded.

Regulated steps such as offers and transfers keep an authoritative event log, not just a status, so an agency can show who decided what, and when. Nothing important is silently rewritten.

Where the assistant works

Templates first, then extraction, then AI.

Most buyer questions are answered by a deterministic template over the listing record. Structured extraction handles the rest of the ordinary cases. Only what remains reaches a language model, and its output is validated before anyone sees it. If validation fails, the conversation goes to a person, not to a guess.

Data residency, retention, what happens when the model is wrong, and what happens when an agent leaves. We would rather answer them before you sign anything.
